Appointment Scheduling: We collect your personal and contact information used to schedule a service appointment with a MAL stylist. We have a legitimate interest in providing appointment-related transactional messaging for our clients.

eGift Cards: We collect your personal and contact information when someone purchases an egift card to send to you or if you purchase an egift card. We have a legitimate interest in providing purchase-related transactional messaging for our clients.

Contact: If you contact us with questions or feedback, we will collect your name and email address, as well as any other content that you send to us, in order to reply. We have a legitimate interest in receiving, and acting upon, your inquiries.

MAL NEWS Email Newsletter: When you sign up for the MAL NEWS newsletter, we collect your email address. We share information about our products and services with individuals that consent to receive such information. We also have a legitimate interest in sharing information about our products or services.

Social Media: We may also collect your information if you submit information to us through Instagram or another social media site. We have a legitimate interest in understanding our users and providing tailored services. Our use is based upon your consent.

Email & Text Message Communication: If you receive a marketing or transaction email/text from us, we use certain tools to capture data related to when you open our message, click on any links or banners it contains and make purchases. We have a legitimate interest in understanding how you interact with our communications to you.

Surveys: When you participate in a survey we distribute, we collect information that you provide through the survey.  If the survey is provided by a third party service provider, the third party’s privacy policy applies to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information. While Square, inc and Squarespace, inc uses reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, they (or “MAL”) cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. MAL uses Squarespace, inc, and Square, inc to manage this website or its Appointment Booking Service feature, and we have no control over the location storage of web data.

  • Third Party Applications/Websites. Our websites may include links to websites or applications that are owned or operated by third parties. Please note, we have no control over the privacy practices of websites or applications that we do not own.
